Pak and Tyrant's quest to watch them all!

(1/29) > >>

Pak-Man:
Well, the other day me and my lovely wife, Tyrant, made a decision. We're both huge fans of MST3K, but neither of us have seen them all. We've both seen the Rhino Releases, and I've seen all of the Sci-Fi era, but we've never seen all of them. So how do you begin a journey like this? At the beginning and one step at a time, so, over the next few months (Hopefully not years) we're going to watch every episode from KTMA 04 all the way to Danger: Diabolik, in order, then we'll both come back here and post our thoughts and reviews of each episode. We've already "aquired" our first batch of KTMA-Era episodes, and my DVD burner is feverishly working on making them viewable on our nice big-screen TV (Because you need HD quality to appreciate the KTMA stuff. :^)) and we'll be posting our thoughts on K04 tonight or tomorrow morning sometime. :^) Feel free to pitch in with words of encouragement, your own personal critiques of the episodes we've just posted on, and anything else that comes to mind during our epic journey.

How many are you planning on watching a day or just on weekends or whenever it strikes your fancy? I was thinking I might join you on this journey since there's a few I still have not watched after acquiring all these episodes the past few years.

RVR II:
Definitly, watch them all In Order from K-04 to 1013, including the Xtras (see Josh Way's MST cover collections) :o

I did it, and just to let you know, It took me over 4 months every day after work & weekends to get through them all :speechless:

Also, if possible, break them down into individual episodes per disc and use Josh Way's slim dvd covers to encase them for organization & future viewings .. And you may need to stock up on ink cartridges and maybe an extra dvd burner just in case :P

Probably just on weekends for the most part or whenever it strikes our fancy. :^) We will be going in order, so it shouldn't be too hard to play along at home. I'm hoping to get at LEAST one per week, probably 2 or more, so it'll take a little longer than it did for RVR, but we'll have time to stop and smell the roses. :^)

RVR II:
Ah! So you're making a Journey out of it? Nice.

Yeah, I forced my wife to endure my pain those 4 months, and when ever she here's the MST3k theme song at the beginning, she leaves the room now :-X
