Happy Turkey Day!
« on: November 23, 2006, 12:45:24 AM »
Well for we Americans, it's time to gather up as many family members as possible and bury the underlying tension felt between one another beneath turkey and gravy. Here's hoping you and yours have an awesome Thanksgiving.

And, to the rest of the world...

WE GET THE DAY OFF AND YOU DON'T! HAHA!

Yes, a happy Thanksgiving to all my riffy friends. We have so much to give thanks for in RiffTrax Land, in year of our lord RT 1. From Road House to Lord of the Rings, it has been a bountiful RiffTrax year.

Enjoy fellow Riff travelers!

Actually I'm Canadian, but the publisher I'm doing a project for is American, so I'm electing to take the day off (or at the very least, half the day) since she is anyway.  ;D

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

I'd just like to add that you don't have to watch that boring Thanksgiving Day Parade! UGH!!

It was quite a ghost town at my office yesterday. Paid holidays are cool!

We get the Queen's birthday and Australia day, with the added bonus there's no pressure to spend either day with your family.

Time to say what everyone is thankful for.

I'm thankful for the riffs (of course), and for the transfats and eggnog I will be consuming today (It's been a looooong time for both).

I know, I'm being different from the pilgrims by not being thankful for the smallpox covered blankets that we gave the Native Americans in secret malice, but that's just me.

I'm thankful for Eggo Waf-Fuls - the frozen waffles with jelly inside - and Vault, the soda that kicks like an energy drink.

[sappy] And if I may get uncharacteristically maudlin for a moment, I'm thankful for the RiffTrax Forum and all the wonderful people I've met here. Even Isaac.  ;) [/sappy]
