I remember enjoying this twist on Civilization, I look forward to hearing more about this.

See that? That's me doing a happy dance. I still have Colonization installed on my machine, which is a bit overpowered for a game I install from a floppy.

Wow really? do you use anything to slow it down? It might be worth me digging up a copy and having a game or two before this new one is released.

There are programs you can use to slow down older games, as I used when I replayed Colonization a little while back. 

This is great news, by the way.  I loved the original, though I wonder if they're going to tackle the slave trade in this one.

Let's hope this is a precursor to them remaking Alpha Centauri...

Nah, I don't slow it down any. It's turn-based, so there's not really anything that requires me to slow it down a tad. And the between-turn enemy actions seem to still be displayed at the same speed as they did back on my 286.
