Different versions?
« on: June 09, 2008, 03:26:56 PM »
The version of this flick I got from iTunes goes out of sync in the scene right before the old English dude's car blows up, like some material has been deleted from the film. Is there an extended version that I don't have? Or is it just my copy that's screwed?

The only version I have seen is the 122 minute version and that is the only one that Amazon.com sells.

Since you mentioned when it happens, that reminded me that the version shown in the theaters was without the English dude explaining some stuff about Mulder's sister.  The DVD version was re-edited to include that material.  I thought this was done for all DVD versions but maybe Itunes doesn't go by DVD versions, maybe they sell original theaterical versions or something.  That's the only thing I can think of.

That's probably it, yeah. Thanks.

And wow, that's stupid. FAIL, iTunes.
