Alexander has gotta be getting up there too.  The director himself can't even make up his mind on his cut.

Nah he just keeps trying to make it watchable.

...that said, when does the 2-hour cut of Rosario Dawson's slow-mo nekkedness come out?

That just might make it an Oliver Stone film these days watchable for me.....

About two hours before the Rifftrax for this cut is released. It'll be easy to record, as it'll consist of two hours of drooling noises.

How about a riff of the VHS versions of the Star Wars Special Editions, so they won't even sync up with the DVD releases.

Nah, I was thinking more along the lines of the THX enhanced, mid-90's re-release of the original trilogy with the intros by Leonard Maltin.

While we're on the topic of different versions...here's the list of links I posted in the original 20Q's thread. These are direct links to the proper version of Alien and cover most of your major online retailers and even some retail shops. This version really is easy to find, in my experience at least. And when I was out, I wasn't even specifically looking for it.

Alien 2-Disc Collector's Edition (This is the version we used)
Half.com ($9.74 lowest price for new copy)
Best Buy ($14.99 and they should all have copies...as it seems like all they ever have is Alien 1 or 3...can never have 2 when I'm looking for it but....ahhh, nvm)
Amazon ($10.49 new, $7.38 from the marketplace...this is the link from the product page on the main site)
Sam Goody ($19.99)
FYE ($19.99 regular, $17.99 member price)
Borders ($16.19 member price, $17.99 list)
Wal-Mart ($14.86)
DeepDiscountDVD.com ($13.77 new)

Quadrilogy (9-Discs, includes Alien, Aliens, Alien 3, Alien Resurrection, and all of the bonus discs)
Amazon ($48.99 new, $31.83 in the marketplace)
Half.com ($32.99 lowest price for new)
Best Buy ($49.99)
Wal-Mart ($48.86)
FYE ($53.99 Member, $59.99 regular)
Sam Goody ($59.99)
Borders ($52.19 Member, $57.99 list)
DeepDiscountDVD.com ($38.25 new...out of stock ATM, though)

And of course...Netflix

Here's the PAL version of the Quad and the Director's for when that 'Trax comes out
Quadrilogy
Director's Cut "Definitive Edition"

(Yeah, possibly redundant...but I want to make sure that anyone who needs it is going to be able to get it)

I know when I looked for it on Amazon the first two results I got back were the director's cut and the quadrology, I get the feeling those are the most available versions.  Just ordered the director's cut for about $7 on amazon.

Ditto.  But it's all good.  I'll hit the used DVD store tomorrow.  They'll have 20 copies I'm sure.

Something tells me that you get to get away with a lot at home.   I would not wage a battle over this one.  Besides, Spanish soap operas all have pretty women in them.

Tomorrow would be a fine night for a few beers and an Alien attach!
