Reason 1:  People will go to a movie to see some stupid bimbo that's in the news all the time and they've been duped into thinking is a celebrity of some sort.

Reason 2:  People who realize that she's only famous because she's rich and acts like a whore and despise the ground she walks on might go to see the movie just because they hear she dies in it.

And there you have it.

Ouch!  I wouldn't want to be Paris Hilton right now.

I hope you never want to be Paris Hilton.

And that goes for all of you, please, never desire to be Paris Hilton.

You know, I was expecting Paris Hilton's acting to be ubber-horrible..... but it really wasn't any worse than any other nameless female in these kind of films.    I guess I am damning her with faint praise.

I agree about Paris' acting. She was just a bad actrees, not a complete incompitant one.

I loved the line about "art imitating life" "except that I don't recognise this as art, and I don't consider Paris Hilton life."

Favorite line no one's mentioned yet, regarding Paris' warehouse chase scene: "If he catches her, he'll have to let her go on the advice of her physician."

This movie is preposterous and Mattew Elliott took full advantage of that with great aplomb!  He gains points with me for making MST3K referrences, first with "watch out for snakes" in "Dark Water,"  then a referrence to Brain Guy in this one - clearly, Elliott's a long time fan.  The whole thing with him obsessing with what might be made of wax had me in stitches.

So many great lines, some favorites:

"Nice place.  I think I saw this before on Lifestyles of the Poor and Deviant."
"This is what you get when you mess with a man's cow fetuses."
"Oh, I recognize him.  He's from Dawson's One Tree 90210."
"Time for some retroactive birth control."
"To catch a self-absorbed heiress, you have to think like a self-absorbed heiress. Me, me, me, me. No, that's not helping."

We finally watched this last night (meaning we finally worked up the courage to go rent House of Wax last night) BRILLIANT!

I loved Dark Water, but this was even better! I think the movie was more watchable, so that helped, but we laghed non-stop.

Does Matthew have more in the works?

PLEASE?!

I finally broke down and bought one of his Rifftrax. Had a good time with it. Now I need to go get the DVD for Dark Water and watch that one. I agree he could benefit from another writer, but he did fine. Some really good lines. Loved the line about the irony of a man named Bo getting shot with an arrow and that he should be lucky his name wasn't 12 gauge.

I finally gave in and bought this, even though I have long held a strong aversion to contributing to anything which has Paris Hilton connected to it.  So, for me the first good joke from Matthew happened before the movie even started, with:

"She's recently suffered a reversal her fortunes,
 and she could really use a share of the profits.

 So it's very amusing to think that she won't receive any."
