OK since the What are you listening to now thread seems to keep being pulled and I rather liked it, even with it's occasional forays into silliness (which you know as a comedy forum could be expected) I thought I'd start one that wouldn't be taken down after a day of existence.

Do you have a nice newish turn table or its it a near antique?

Both actually.  I have an old (30+ years) stereo console with turntable, 8 track and AM/FM.  But that thing is too bulky to keep hooked up to my system, so I upgraded to a new Sony turntable about 3 or 4 years ago.  The old console is in the back of my closet (I hate throwing things like that away).  I still have several "old" tech items hooked to my entertainment system though.  CED, Beta, Laserdisc, 8 Track tape.  I can play them all (and do from time to time).
