Don't know how many people here have heard of Perturbator, but dammit, the album The Uncanny Valley is awesome.  For those who don't know, he's a synth artist whose music sounds like the soundtrack to The Terminator, Blade Runner, and a lot of other 80s films.  A couple of songs have ended up on the Hotline Miami soundtrack, but since I never played those games, I don't know how many of his songs are on there.

I would link, since he and the publishing company have the whole album up for free on Youtube, but even more so than most of his album covers, this one is not safe for work...which is a shame, since the album would make the work day go that much faster.
One Man Band Riffs.  18 riffs, over 600 served, since 2009.

I love stuff like that. Hotline Miami had an outstanding soundtrack.

I mentioned this on other threads, but I have been listening to the soundtrack to Over the Garden Wall a lot.  Between this, Adventure Time and Steven Universe, it is a crime that Cartoon Network isn't releasing albums.  Steven doubly so, as the background music by video game vets Aivi & Surasshu are great, as are the musical numbers (helps that a lot of the cast are musicians).  But Over the Garden Wall was especially impressive and sort of made the late 19th/early 20th century music interesting in the same way that O Brother Where Art Thou made that era's music interesting.

Jamming to the Civilization II soundtrack while I work because I feel like time traveling 20 years into the past.

Vomitron released an album not too long ago and it's pretty sweet to hear NES 8-bit tunes upgraded to heavy metal.

I just bought some more MP3's from Amazon... including some I thought I already had purchased, but anyways including a few I bought off the Rocky Horror soundtrack I also purchased Weird Al's "Stuck in a closet with Vanna White", which is a hilarious concept but first and foremost I always thought "This song rocks". Been listening to that song since I first got the "Even Worse" album on cassette way back in 89.

I've never really listened to the Buzzcocks before.  I knew a couple songs.  But now that I've really given them a listen and I'm really into them.  So I got Singles Going Steady.  Despite it "sort of" being a best of (only a few songs actually appeared on previous albums), I feel like this is the best punk album of the 70's.  Definitely looking forward to getting more of their stuff in the future.

Why do these kids sound like Led Zeppelin?

Because they're trying to sound like LZ?
