Dug out another random LP this morning:

Bay City Rollers - Bay City Rollers

Needs more plaid, although they definitely hit their limit on hair helmets.
VIVA IL ESORDIO DEL DIABETE ADULTO DUCE!!!

Griffin's so talented anyway, and then to orchestrate his music in a Russian Gypsy Jazz style...wow.

Disco is a fucking hell of a lot better than the shit that's being farted out of the mainstream pop and lame-ass punk acts today.

AAhh, that is sadly very true.

Some folks say I'm stuck in the 80s cause its the main era(closely followed by the 70s and 60s) I listen to, I tell em I'd listen to more recent music if all the bands didn't suck.

and Thrashalla has impeccable taste in music.  :highfive:

You're comparing the best of one genre to the worst of others. I love disco too, but it was rarely perfected.

Well, no, actually I started this last year by posting a Disco Sucks pic, and was agreeing with gunflyer about the state of current music. In my personal estimation disco isnt much above current music in suckiness, but thats just my opinion since my main love is hard rock and metal.

Oh, I see. Well, Gunflyer is then.

And because this is a music thread: This is (IMHO) as good as disco ever got (although it's technically mixed with Philly Soul or something?)

And there's probably a better recording somewhere, but this version is hard to find for download. I have a version by The Three Degrees, but it's not as epic.

[EDIT} 4:20 is where it gets really good.

Ignore the lyrics [cheesy] and the video [terrible] - the music is awesome.
