Anyone have a favourite moment in the episode?

For me, it was Hank & his Destiny suit and just how awesome wired-Hank was in the jungle. Nevertheless, there's probably a good hundred moments I loved from those 2 months of Venture.

I liked Venture's completely cynical attitude melt away during Spanikopita.  Rarely has an episode been that upbeat and sweet!

As you can probably tell by my avatar I'm a huge fan of the show. The only thing that still bugs me about the show is Sergeant Hatred, he definitely has his moments but his voice and personality annoy the hell out of me (not to mention the whole ex-pedophile thing). Any way,I thought the new season was great and it felt like an eternity waiting for these episodes. As long as Brock, Dr. Orpheus, and Dr. Killinger continue to appear on new episodes I'm happy.

Sergeant Hatred has grown on me. He's one of the few characters in the show that seems to really be happy in the place he's in. He's got some regrets, of course, but he loves his job. I like his enthusiasm.

So, are these eight episodes (plus Halloween special) considered the entirety of the fifth season, or is it one of those split-season deals (fellow Breaking Bad fans know what I mean)?

I thought it was a split season, but I think it's two seasons but will, hopefully, come out sooner than 3 years.

Yeah. That was officially a whole season. The longer seasons were causing 3 year wait-times for the next ones, so they decided to go shorter. Also, the Halloween special counted as an episode, and the pilot counted as 2.

The creators of the show are inconsistent to say the least when it comes to conforming to the standard season/episode framework that other shows follow. I don't blame them, it's their prerogative to release the shows when ever they feel like it, if I had it my way there would be a new episode every week for ever.

Tyrant and I haven't quite finished our pre-special Venture Bros. marathon (We've only got Season 5 to watch) so I'll be avoiding this thread as of now, but I have a feeling I'll have stuff to say once we get there...
