Who on the board loves The Venture Brothers! I noticed a couple people have venture avatars! Awesome. I cannot wait for the new season. There is a preview for season 3 on Jackson Publicks website.

I have to say I'm not a huge fan. Sorry.  :-\ However I LOVE Patrick Warburton's voice. As the tick, on seinfeld, etc. He'd make a geat quest riffer...

It took me awhile to get into the Venture Brothers, first time I saw it on Adult Swim I just kind of stared at it without a real reaction then turned it off half way through.  I'm not sure what kind of weird mood I was in that day, maybe it was just a horrible week I can't remember or something, but when I caught a couple episodes in the last year, I got hooked and I got hooked big.  I can't wait for season 3.

i LOVE the venture bros. i kinda hope that dr v gets his act together cause at the rate he is going he is gonna be broke soon.  course i dont want him to turn into his father i just want him to be a bigger player in the minds of the guild.  also the monarch rules.

damn straight!  As much as the entire series has grown on me, the thing that got me hooked more than anything is the Monarch/Dr. Girlfriend saga

I love the Venture Brothers!  Really excited that new ones are finally coming out.  I guess Ben Edlund, the creator of the original Tick comics, is involved in some way?  You can see a Tick-like influence with all the goofy heroes and villains, only a little more adult.

Jackson Publick (One of the show's main helmers) worked on The Tick cartoon as a writer with Ben Edlund, so a lot of his ideas are still drawing from that same well of creativity. He apparantly also stays in touch with Ben Edlund, who has come in to work on three episodes.

Ben did the much maligned (But I really like 'em) Careers in Science, and Guess Who's Coming to State Dinner duology, and he did Viva Los Muertos! (The one with Venturestein.)

I don't watch Adult Swim that often but I usually pick up the shows I like on DVD when they are availible.  But I may have to set my dvr for these.  Venture Bros. rules.

Oh yell yeah! I watched the unaried pilot after I bought the season 1 dvd. The Monarch is hilarious in that episode (and its the only episdoe where Dr. Girlfriend isn't voiced by Doc Hammer)

Man, this ALMOST makes me want to get cable again.  It looks I'm in for a bit of a wait until it's on DVD.

Did anyone else find that they liked Season 1 better than Season 2?  Brock was a lot scarier and less nurturing in Season 1.
