...in bringing a
Serenity project to Broadway. I gave up on the idea of Universal ever green-lighting a sequel and decided to step it a notch by boondoggling a musical adaptation of my beloved crew. I even flirted with the idea of crossing over a character from the Buffyverse, Sweet, as a wink to the loyal fans of the verse of B.
But in the end, I knew what needed to be done, and the Slayer movie is a comin'. We're opening the time rift again and bringing Melaka, Harth, and Gunther over to our side to join Buffy, Will, Illyria, the Cheese Man, Clem, D'Hoffryn, Drac, the Judge (with a renewed sense of modern weaponry), Pike (I had to reference the original movie), and most importantly to the fans...the sights for sore eyes...
