Ah now there's the thing, we had two prizes and er, only two entries.

This is not to take away from the winners but only two of you actually entered.

Oh and Fortis, could you send it to me again?

Oh...well I wish I would have finished mine then.  :-\

Here is my rough draft/concept story idea for what I was planning on doing. The original story was going to span the entire first er...fourth episode of star wars...but I just couldn't get anything beyond this to feel right.

Mike Nelson, Destroyer of Worlds

"No! Alderaan is peaceful! We have no weapons, you can't possibly..." Governor Tarkin cut off Princess Leia in his anger, "You would prefer another target, a military target? Then name the system! I grow tired of asking this so it will be the last time: Where is the rebel base?"

Princess Leia looked visibly resigned when she replied, "...Dantooine." She looked down in defeat, "They're on Dantooine."

Tarkin knew this is what he was waiting for, he was still proving his loyalty to the almighty Lord Vader, but he hoped in time to earn his trust. "There. You see, Lord Vader, she can be reasonable. Continue with the operation; you may fire when ready."

"You're far too trusting. Dantooine is too remote to make an effective demonstration - but don't worry; we will deal with your rebel friends soon enough." Let Lord Vader stew over that! Nobody could doubt his loyalty to the empire now!

But somewhere on the other side of Alderaan, was another ship in orbit above the planet. The Satellite of Love. "Tom bring me the Vinegar!" Mike Nelson yelled over the com system. "We don't have much time, Pearl will be making her way to this planet any minute now. Unless you want to watch Hobgoblins 2, you better hurry!"

Tom Servo hovered onto the bridge, he sounded tired, which made Mike wonder for the thousandth time, if robots got tired. "Alright alright Mike, I've got the vinegar, but I'm telling you, the potency of this bomb is even more than last time, you've destroyed, what, ten planets now?"

"Hey this was your plan Servo! There isn't any way you are backing out of this now!" Mike knew he sounded desperate, but he was. He knew that if he watched one more movie, robot friends or not, he was going to go insane. The sting in his eyes from the sweat kept him coherent as he worked, it told him he was still human, his mind wasn't completely destroyed, not yet...He knew this bomb would destroy the planet, but if there was a chance that he could destroy Pearl's secret stash of bad movies, then it was worth it.

The bomb was finished, the baking soda was measured and placed carefully into the separate partition of the bomb. Mike had to be careful as he walked with it, if he dropped it, the wall separating the vinegar from the baking soda would break, destroying anything within a parsec. Mike's heart began beating faster, his palms got a little sweaty, damaging the grip he had on the bomb.

Mike quickly made his way to the laundry chute, and dropped the bomb inside, knowing that in 10 seconds, the bomb would hit the planet's atmosphere, and go off.

Governor Tarkin waited in anticipation has he heard the generators gear up for the impending fire. This star ship generated enough electricity to power a small planet every time they fired, and he could feel the power as the floor shook slightly. He watched on screen as the green laser went towards Alderaan. He waited in anticipation for the planet to yield to its awesome power.

And then the explosion, it was more amazing then he expected. He was barely listening as Princess Leia screamed out in protest and she was taken by security away.

Governor Tarkin turned around to see a low level officer standing at attention. "Speak."

"Uh, sir. Sensor readings indicate that the planet was not destroyed by us. But by a small vessel that was in orbit around Alderaan." His voice was shaky, as if he dreaded what the governor had to say.

Governor Tarkin was shocked by this news, but he did not allow Lord Vader or this young officer to see his emotions. That was the first rule of a high officer. Never let them see your anxiety. "Scan the vessel for weapons systems, if they are less powerful than Tie Fighters, send a squadron to escort the vessel to us. I want to speak to the people aboard that ship in the brig within the hour!"

"Uh, Sir, the ship has already left this area of space. Sensors indicate that it was towed off by another ship...both of which are a make and model not recognized by the computer archives."
