If it's just 5 seconds of home movies, it doesn't count as an alternate ending. Also, I learned you don't need to provide commentary for said 5 second alternate endings.

I learned that since this monster was "just a baby" and the filmmakers wanted to depict it not being aggressive and evil but "trapped and scared" that the filmmakers have no idea how to depict emotion of any kind.

Also I learned that babies drop even smaller babies wherever they go.  They must be born pregnant, which is quite a time saver!
