Welcome CalculusThief (stop eyeing my calculus drink!)

They mentioned a long time ago the prospect of releasing a bunch of bloopers from their Rifftrax recording sessions, but it never happened. I'd love to hear those.

TorgosPizza, anybody reading this? Is that still a possibility?

We watched Giant Spider Invasion. I felt badly for the spiders. I think they could have enacted some really positive change in Wisconsin.

"It's always funny when you turn down tea, then you decide you want tea... it's great."

"Audiences won't soon forget when the thing we didn't know what it was was put in the helicopter by the guy we didn't know."
You know, if the space man puma thing turns out to be the correct religion, I for one will be very surprised.

I was very supportive of their anti-Shatner policies.

Mitchell.

I often have a hard time watching movies from the 70's, and 'Mitchell' was by far no exception. It's even MORE 70's than Touch of Satan, but I wanted to watch the last episode with Joel and really enjoyed it for that. Plus the riffs were decent.

"GET OUTTA HERE KID!!!!!"

"That's our Mitchell!"

I went on a bit of an mst bender last night (was up late pumpkin carving)... I might get one of the titles wrong...

Manos: The Hands of Fate
Fugitive Alien [ktma]
Time of the Apes [ktma]
5 Million Eyes of Dr. Sumuru
Hangar 18
The Last Chase

I might be forgetting one but that seems about right.

Just one very nice Godzilla pumpkin. It took a while to say the least, although I tooks breaks to be fair. I wish I could upload a pic of it.

Fugitive Alien (310) - I like the ktma cut but this is the superior episode by far. The ktma cut seems to take forever to get through, even though it's enjoyable, where as this one flew by pretty quickly. The only thing I missed was the 'magnetic fields forever' bit, but then that's what makes the first one worth watching.

Sometimes I can't get through that episode because the plot of the movie is sooooo slow and if I'm even a little tired I will fall asleep.  When I can stay alert (which is much easier with at least one person in the room) it really does come across as a classic.

I can see that. It is very painfully 70s.

Just been watching all the Gamera episodes. Not trying to start an arguement or anything but while I've watched most of Mike's shows I haven't watched a lot of Joel's episodes in the past as the few I did watch didn't really grab me ( I think they were very early KTMA/ Season 1 eps, where they were still finding their feet ). But I loved the Gamera riffs and will definitely be seeking out more of Joel's episodes now. I love the kind of paternal relationship he has with the bots. Probably my favourite part of these riffs is when Tom loses it and just wants to kill ichi/ kenny.

Watching DevilFish right now. Great riffing. But why in God's name do they keep trying to show off the skinny chick?! She has the physique of a prepubescent boy.

Kitten with a Whip: Anne-Margret is actually not too bad, but John Forsythe is more wooden than Woodie Woodpecker and Woodrow Wilson at a nudist colony with Max Planck and DeForest Kelly.

Just sayin'. ???

I'm officially going to watch through the entire series. Between Netflix, Amazon, and YouTube most all of them are available.

Going through the full episode list I have seen 74 (maybe a few more than that) of the 197 episodes. Not too shabby, but some of the originals are really hard to watch.

Today I watched both Fugitive Alien and Fugitive Alien 2 which I liked quite a bit. Now I know where the whole, "he tried to kill me with a forklift!" joke comes from.
