Crash of the Moons and Manhunt are two faves.

Try them unriffed.  They're pretty good.  I've seen the whole Rocky Jones saga, shame they didn't do more.  But I read they were too expensive to continue.

:o Too expensive? Was there a cardboard shortage in the fifties?

Well, that was one of the reasons, the other was cast changes and the such.

Here's a nifty website about the show.  Some other nerd like me got together a bunch of info.  I would love to have some of the merchandise shown, bet its expensive though.  Well, too expensive for me anyway.

Watching She-Creature right now. Good riffing, but boy is that Carlo Lembardi slimy.

Wild, wild world of Batwoman

I love it more every time I see it.  It used to bore me to tears.  But the riffing is wonderful.

But the best part is the Cheating short and the sketches afterwards.  Especially when Crow shows up offering some soup.

Teenage Crime Wave.  Cause it takes place around Thanksgiving.  A Mystos/Menthos bit and Crow (Trace) has some great lines.  Plus needy cows  and the greatest leather-jacketed criminal mastermind ever.

Watching 'Revenge of the Creature'. Great intro to Bobo. And I just love the Ape World set!

The Charleton Heston fish locator.

This guy can get married, but I can't even get a date. (funny, but sadly very true for me)

Watching Teenage Strangler. Man, this is a gem of an episode. I love the movies where the actors/crew are clearly trying but just flat-out stink at their jobs. My personal highlights are the Romulan lady from the short and, of course, Mikey. If I had been aware of the show during the convention years, I would have totally went as Mikey.

Squirm

One of my favorite things about MST is how they use these old songs.  A lot of songs that are obscure, songs many people wouldn't remember

In this episode as he's hooking up Emmett the worm he is singing "Lights Out" by Peter Wolf under his breath.  I love this song, still have it on 45.

Wonder which writer added this in?  Mike?  Who knows?

San Francisco International - Excellent episode, I wish this one would be released on a DVD set. Good riffing throughout, but everything with Davey, especially his flight, is absolute gold!

Valley of the Giants

Never seen it.  Pretty good.

Although the part with Tommy making out with the chick totally creeped me out

Took a break for a while, but getting the MST/Riffs back in the rotation.  Just watched Samson vs. the Vampire Women - never seen it before.

I liked it.  Don't mess with Santos/Samson!

What are we up to now, Volume XXVI?

Just saw Kitten with a Whip for the first time. The riffs were hilarious and the movie was surprisingly compelling. The acting was a little bit off, and the antagonists REALLY date the movie, but I found myself genuinely rooting for the bland proagonist to find a way out of the ever-growing mess. It was almost comedic the way all the wrong people showed up at all the wrong times, and I felt sorry for the guy.

Fun episode, overall.
