"The Violent Years"

Oh, how I love this movie.  And the short may be my fave MST3k short.

The Beast of Yucca Flats

This one popped up while I was watching random TV.  Fun.  You never can go wrong with Coleman Francis.  Which may the line Tony Cordoza used to get the actors to participate in the first place.

A couple of great shorts with this one too.

High School Musical

Fantastic the second time around. The girlfriend loved it too...definitely in my top ten fav riffs.

What a creepy movie though. The sterility of the high school and the sentiments the film expresses feeling somewhat fascist to me. A world of complete and total mediocrity which is of course the fascist aesthetic...

I think you want this thread--the one you're in is for MST3K, not Rifftrax. :)

Moved it. Sorry. I think the movie got into my head.

I love the cops plan to catch the murderer when they have no idea when the woman was murdered. Just fly up above the mountain, hope the murderer hung around, and then shoot anyone they see up there because that person must be the murderer. I mean what???!

Tried watching Hamlet again.  Thought I'd give it another chance, since other episodes I didn't like at first have become faves (i.e. Batwoman).  Hamlet however still bores me to tears

This weekend I had a Gamera fest, all movies in a row.  Good times.

Robot Monster

Surprising good episode for an early one.  It helps that the movie is so ridiculous that it makes for easy riffs.

I think this may be the first time I have seen this one.  There are still some that I have not seen, mostly Joel episodes but a few Mike ones.  These are my rainy day MST3K episodes.   :)

Robot Monster cracks me up.  Just the Ape walking along the desert, and Joel singing.  Classic

Sorry....nothing done on the MST3K Discussion Board interests me.

Signed,
The MSTie Formerly Known as Wild Rebel

I hear ya, the clique jumped me over there when I tried to joke on a topic, and when I retorted in kind to the lone female, the males of the group fantasized about leaving the Shire and banned me

What a joke

Love MST3K but half of the fanbase are warped

Anyway watched Undead

Best known for STAY!!!!!!1

Robot Monster is a movie that I actually suffered through on its own before being introduced to MST3K.

A joke from every single episode available....

Could only stand a few minutes, the repeating music track they put on top of the clips makes it hard to hear the riffs.

No shit. The music's not only completely unnecessary, but it's way too fucking loud.. What a shame to go to all that trouble to edit, and then just ruin it.

Merlin's Shop of Mystical Wonders - Still one of my favorite episodes. The riffing is top notch, and the host segments (particularly the bots reviewing each other) are great. The movie, while bad and goofily stitched together, is oddly watchable. Particularly how crazy (and innapropriate for little kids) the Bob Jackass part is.

Radar Secret Service.   Of all the mst films this may possibly be the most difficult one for me to get through.  I have failed three times now to get through the episode is one sitting.  It took three nights to get through it this time.  The boys do their best and there are plenty of laughs but how many jokes can you come up with about the same boring driving scenes  and the same radar scenes and the same helicopter scenes over and over and over and.......give me Batwoman any day over this headache inducing non-motion picture mess.
