"Is there a word in the English language Hamlet hasn't said yet?"  :D
Yeah. Twit. Which is ironic, because that is the first thing I think of when I watch Hamlet.

I hate Shakespeare, so it's great to see them riff this one. But the movie is so powerfully dull it hurts.

Dull? But it's Hamlet, the greatest written work in the English lang-- Yeah, you're right. Dullsville.

Just watched Pod People, the bit with calling the animals potatoes still kills me no matter how many times I've seen it.

Some great host segments as well.

Although a lot of it is getting harder to sit through, such a dull and stupid movie.

"Small winged potatoes?" Yeah, it was great back when there were only a handful of episodes available on VHS.

The Magic Voyage of Sinbad and The Sword and the Dragon, back to back. Saving up money to find the undubbed and uncut original films these movies were made from - because damned if they don't look gorgeous.

"He's not Sinbad" might be a new random phrase for me...

Blood Waters of Dr. Z off of the new set.

That one hurt me. Hurt me in my inside parts.

Sargassum indeed.

610 - The Violent Years.

Again, the movie was sorta lame, but the short (medium?) was hilarious.  Really kind of raunchy for these guys too.

So, what did those girls do to that slim young man they dragged off behind the bushes, anyway? A true Ed Wood fantasy - they made him wear their clothes.  :D

Maybe they were vampires. (Benny Hill reference)

109 - Project Moonbase. Almost done with the season 1 eps now...And this movie wouldn't have been half bad were it not for the offsetting of its portraying women in authority positions (female President!) with the misogynistic whiny spoiled brat characterisation of Col. Breiteis (and also for having a character named Breiteis)...

205 - Rocket Attack USA. I love how the last third of this is an almost completely different movie. You'd think a propaganda piece would be more well put-together.

612 - The Starfighters.  I giggled a lot at all the refueling scenes.  Kind of watched intermittently the rest of the movie as I was doing other stuff, but this wasn't nearly as bad as I'd heard it would be (on these boards it seems to be called the Worst Movie EVER).

I know it makes me a philistine, but I definitely enjoy a movie less if it's in black and white.  When a B&W ep comes on, I sigh a little bit.  I know, for example, that Red Zone Cuba is lurking out there in a few weeks, and I'm already sort of dreading it.
You think Red Zone Cuba would have been better if it had been in color?!

I just watched three I'd never seen before:

SQUIRM ("Come on--nobody's that southern!!")
THE DEADLY BEES ("She looks like Lee Marvin")
BLOOD WATERS OF DR Z ("This guy peaked in the womb")

Fav of the 3? The Deadly Bees. Some Brits saw Hard Days Night and THe Birds and got confused. Best part is the ending guy in the bowler hat with the torgo-esque theme. HILARIOUS!! Also adored the skit at the beginning. "Sauce.... too thick.... save yourself!"

Deadly Bees really is an excellent one.  Squirm is just...sort of disgusting.  I don't even remember Blood Waters, though I'm sure I've seen it.

I loved the Deadly Bees  ("the dogs meat!").

Blood Water of Dr. Z gets my award for most unusual folk-based theme song that was much better than the movie itself.

You mean the lead couple or the sister?

God, I love The Starfighters. Great riffs, exceptional host segments, and an odd movie where nothing at all happens, but without any off-putting utter incompetence. One of my favorites.

SARGASSUM! Weed of deceit! I like Dr Z a lot, especially since each act feels like a completley different movie - the supreme weirdness of the opening mad scientist stuff, the traditional guy-in-a-crappy-suit attacks people stuff, and the cracker sheriff/young black EPA investigator buddy movie. Three shitty flicks in the space of one.
