Invasion USA - Holy shit, who originally funded that movie?

Well, going by the poster....

...Seems it was Columbia.

And yes, I just wanted an excuse to put up that poster.  ;)
Hahaha, nice poster, I especially enjoy the woman falling from nothing or being blown away by an explosion 5 miles away and still stay in tact. Invasion U.S.A. is brought to you by Columbia Pictures and your friendly military-industrial complex urging you to buy more guns and fear what we tell you to.

I just finished The Deadly Mantis.

I actually didn't think the movie was that bad.

Threw in "Boggy Creek II" a couple of nights ago.  Wonderfully bad.  Great riff.

Superdome: My first KTMA episode, and though the picture quality was awful, I kinda enjoyed the whole thing.  It's pretty funny in places, though Josh's inability to keep Servo still annoyed the crap out of me.  Even if this would've been my first MST3k experience, I think I would've still checked it out.

Recently watched MY first KTMA episode: Phase IV. Boy, was that a stinker, but the boys seemed relieved to be coming off a string of Gamera movies. Also, there were commercials for Pizza & Pasta, as well as Joel's stand-up act.

I was gonna watch that one, but then I decided just to watch the films that I haven't seen or that weren't riffed by the guys at a later date.  The riffing in the KTMA episodes isn't good enough for me to check out an inferior MSTied version.

Don't give up on the KTMAs until you see City on Fire.  It's the best, IMHO.

Watched The Rebel Set last night...one of the best "bad" movie they did.

Oh, I'll be watching all of the ones they didn't riff again.  I'm currently in the middle of the Million Eyes of Su-Maru.

Escape 2000...

I have no idea where this one ranks among the rest of you, but this one is one of the best to me, right up there with Space Mutiny and Puma Man.

I had a Memorial Day weekend double-feature of The Brute Man and Laserblast.

What, don't you like it?

The Brute Man is still as funny as ever. I've must have seen this 10 times by now. Laserblast was a bit more fun the second time around. The first time I'd seen 'blast, I had it built too high. I still feel it is the weakest of the 6 episodes of Season 7, but it still has its moments aside from its place in MST3K lore.

Creeper, creeper, creeper...you give me the CREEPS!

God, I love Storekeeper Haskins.

I know, so he's the creeper. Now you just creep along with that. I MEAN HURRY UP WITH THAT STUFF!!!!
