Next up is The Incredible Melting Man.  I really do love Ted Nelson.

Watched The Sword and the Dragon last night while trying to fall asleep. Bridget and Mary Jo playing the visiting upstairs neighbors from Deep 12 while Dr. Forrester and TV's Frank blather on about Babylon 5 and comic books was pure awesomeness, "are we on a date?" heh.

Hey MSTies.

I had a mini Gamerathon yestereday.  I watched Gamera and Gamera vs Barugon.

It was great when Joel thanked the Mads for sending a movie that wasn't that bad...

So did I.  Put it on "replay" for all night.

Weird.  Yeah, that's what you could call it.  Weird.

419- "The Rebel Set"

"Merrit Stone ladies and gentlemen."
"It's not Merrit Stone!"_Servo

"Who is Merrit Stoooooooooooooooone?"_Frank

Surprisingly good stuff for an older episode, not too bad of a plot either once they attempt to get to the action.

I saw The Oozing Skull again last night.  I liked it, but the movie's a total downer for me.  Not fun at all.

I got my grubby little paws on most of the series recently and have been going through it in sequence at an alarming rate.  :o I just got done watching Overdrawn at the Memory Bank, where she bungled & bobbled the Fingal dopple.

Having recently aquired Volume 12, I sat down with Tyrant to watch Starfighters....

WOW that movie is not as interesting as it sounds. What WAS that? It was all so procedural and technical. It's like it was developed as a preliminary training video by the air force or something, and they tried to spice it up, but they forgot to make anything interesting happen.

Clearly you missed the incredibly hot refuelling scenes.   :)

I finished Time of the Apes and now I'm on to Mighty Jack.
Wow, I never noticed before how they used the same voice actors in all of these Sandy Frank flicks.
I guess maybe I'm only noticing it now, since I'm watching them back to back with no other genre's in between.

Starfighters is one of the few episodes I actually couldn't finish.  Not only is it an incredibly boring movie, I didn't think the riffing was very sharp.

I just watched Leech Woman.  Good riffing, and I quite enjoy the film itself as well.  Pretty dark subject matter.  It was pretty laughable how the titular character was able to hit the pituitary gland on all her victims without fail.  Even the guy who tried to mug her...she hit the gland from the front, while being choked!
