I always read interviews where some variation of "well all the people from last time are gone, this new group will be much nicer to the project" is trotted out. It's sort of Battered Creator syndrome.

You guys are making it sound like FOX has cancelled six of his shows.  It's only been Firefly, right?  And those moronic buffoon network people were fired for incompetence long ago, right?

Yes, Fox only has competent, intelligent people working for them now. Just like Comedy Central. :D

Just a reminder, they also cancelled the extremely overhyped "Drive," after about four episodes, just because it FEATURED the guy from Firefly.

I was actually rather bored by Drive. No big loss to me when it was cancelled.

That because you don't understand the genius of CG camera zooming through car windshields. SPIELBERG invented that.

Wait.  This series will feature Eliza Dushku, Olivia Williams, AND Amy Acker?

Good Lord.

Note to Mr Whedon: pillow fights and long mutual bathing scenes are integral to the mes-en-scene of this sort of thing.  I know we can rely on you ;)
