I know it doesn't come out by him for a few weeks.  Is it out in the UK?

Yep, it's out already... got my copy and a large popcorn just waiting for the Rifftrax release... I think the popcorn'll be stale in a few weeks!

You should send your copy to BathTub.
On timeout

That's not a bad idea.  Airsure from UK to NZ takes about four days... so if I send it off tomorrow he'd have it 23 March -- better than the 9 April release date.

I tried the ntsc version sped up 4% and that'll do the job with some tinkering.
In the UK version there might be some cuts as I noticed some issues with the sync lines in places. Some were dead on with others a bit in front and also a bit behind (not a pun about the amount of arse in Beowulf) the movie's audio. But I can't confirm that until I've done a re-author. I just couldn't be bothered last night.

Yeah this is out in a couple of weeks here, combine that with a new job, and I am quite busy right now. But I will get on it as soon as I can.

Well I checked it and it works perfectly (almost everytime). If you're in a desperate hurry and you're in the UK or Ireland the ntsc version (speed up 4.271%) will match the PAL release of the Director's Cut version without any edits.
Or perhaps the task of fixing ntsc rifftrax to pal is a dying art. It's not like in the old days when I spent an age tweaking the ntsc 5th Element into pal. Don't mind me I'm just grumbling

Ok, I'll give it a try... what software are you using to speed up the track?

Audacity will do the job
http://audacity.sourceforge.net/
Anything that can speed-up or time compress should do the job.

That worked really well!

And it was pretty easy, too.

Thanks!

Ah no worries, the build up for this one will hopefully be worth it!

Hey, countv !

Just a quick "thank you"... Spiderman 3's out today and thanks to you I can enjoy it even thought it's NTSC only!

... or at least I hope so... assuming the UK version isn't vastly different from the USA version... even if so it'll probably be workable.

Cheers!

Can I add my thanks.............4.271% fits perfectly for the PAL version.

Wish I had known that before I spent hours cutting the Eragon riff manually when it only came out in NTSC....still, the result was more than worth it.
