So, the Beat the Boots series is now being offered on iTunes, Amazon MP3, etc.

Any thoughts?
This iRiff will only be on sale for another few hours. Get it while it's cheap!

Yeah.. why would I buy a lossy format?
my entry made my girlfriend laugh a few times, the best I can hope for really.

I'd say Whalberg definately qualifies as really good.

No, I do not pay for mp3s. The very concept is absurd. I will download something every once in a while and if I like it, I'll buy it, but there's no way in hell I'm paying for an album in a lossy format when I can go out and buy the album used for cheaper.

I often find that it's cheaper to buy an album in MP3 format than on CD. And I can't really tell the difference in terms of sound quality.

It's not like a bootleg recording is going to suffer, anyway. In any case, I'm not particularly interested in paying for audience recordings.

* torgosPizza looks at our catalog of mp3 files...

Just messing with ya. I would agree that if an album is cheaper then mp3 is out since i could just rip it to flac or m4a. But if it's harder to find / I'm lazy and don't want to go and get it...

Pardon the necromancy, but yes, Zappa rocks. Zappa had quite an illustrious career as both a the brains behind Mothers of Invention and a solo artist, which in turn has many of its own eras (Jazz fusion, comedy rock, rock opera). I've listened to Freak Out, We're Only In It For the Money, Weasels Ripped My Flesh, Hot Rats, Waka/Jawaka, The Grand Wazoo, and Sheikh Yerbouti. I still need to get my hands on Apostrophe, Bongo Fury, Shut Up 'n' Play Yer Guitar, and many other classics I've thus far missed out on.
