Joe Jackson's "Steppin' Out" should cheer you the hell up, if it doesn't you might not have a heart or just bad taste in music.

Boards of Canada - In A Beautiful In the Country a siren song for me to want to go driving through the mountains. Not sure if it will make you happy, it makes me happy though.

As a sort of auditory balm I find River Man by Nick Drake is splendid

Actually much of Drake's work is good if you're in a melancholy mood.

As a pick me up I like Groove is in the Heart by Dee Lite

Fun Fact: Trent Reznor agrees with me on the excellence of this song.

Or Bentley's Gonna Sort You Out by Bentley Rythm Ace

"Wig In A Box" is weapons-grade AWESOME.
"All I ask of you is one thing: please don't be cynical. I hate cynicism -- it's my least favorite quality and it doesn't lead anywhere.

Why don't you use the Flashblock add-on for Firefox and that way everyone else doesn't have to accommodate you?
