Not really. Any interest factor is far outweighed by suckiness. Not five minutes ago I was about to call the hotline again.

Haven't had a whole lot to talk about so far this tax season.. Till now

Had to do 4 years of amended returns for a couple because H&R Block did not include the husband's ITIN!
They filed Head of Household for 2011, 12, 13,& 14 giving her the Earned Income Credit (EIC) for their 2 kids and didn't include his ITIN because 'they didn't know what to do with it'
Now she (they) owe a grand total of $15322.00 for all 4 years after removing the EIC's for all 4 years

I haven't filed income tax since about 1989, so I don't know what you are talking about.  But, since it's IRS and H&R Block, I assume it's something bad.

Oh it works out for me cause We Charge $200 per year for amended returns but I gave them a deal of $600 for all 4 years 
EIC's are for U.S. citizens only. Basically because the husband/father is not a U.S. citizen, he is not entitled to the Earned Income Credit and this credit is removed from the family as well

I'm tied into a company owned by my mother, which means I can't just do the automated annual tax filing, but my mum can be very very late getting the company tax filing done which makes me late too. quite frustrating.

Oh god no, we look at your tax system in terror. It's all computerized and online. And 99.99999% of people never even have to think about it. I just have that added complication that means I can't do the default filing and have to fill in an extra field in the form. But of course I can't do that until Mum gets the company return done.

RVR!  I'm talking about the IRS, not companies that do tax returns.  Now, go and bang your head on the floor until forgiven.

So we got the results for our personal taxes from our CPA..
Amazingly, we get $425 back but our bill went from $300 to $370 because of Obama Care (that's exactly what they called it) and this doesn't even include our business taxes which is a separate bill 
I told them I didn't want to e-file because I didn't think we were getting anything back but it turns out I would save $60 e-file charge by Not e-filing
After being put on hold for a bit they said they would leave it at $300 like last year..
I don't like the high price CPAs charge but we're also tax preparers and know how to do personal taxes very well but we don't charge more than $180 and that includes e-filing and filling out those Affordable Care forms so I had to call them out on that price increase
