I can't believe you've made it through even 1 episode....  I've watched 5 minutes once and had to change the channel

though to the serie's credit, the first thing I ever won out of a claw machine was a doll of "The" Batman from that show at 3am at a shopright

Hey! I have this movie and didn't realize they did a commentary on it.

They should get that damn series out at some point in my lifetime. I think they're unaware of what a goldmine it would be; if for no other reasons than nostalgia and the fact that it makes a fantastic drinking game.

Unless you intend to be unusually long-lived, don't bet on it. Fox owns the rights to the show, and WB owns the rights to Batman, and neither one seems to have any intention of compromising.

Riffing any Adam West Batman movie or TV show is just too easy.

i would prefer one of the big budget Batman movies.

Yep, and don't forget about about the infamous bomb disposal scene.

Yeah, that's the one. I personally find both those scenes hilarious as it is, and as they were meant to be.

Amen to that.

Quote
Commissioner Gordon: It could be any one of them... But which one? Which ones?
Batman: Pretty *fishy* what happened to me on that ladder...
Commissioner Gordon: You mean where there's a fish there could be a penguin?
Robin: But wait! It happened at sea... Sea. C for Catwoman!
Batman: Yet, an exploding shark *was* pulling my leg...
Commissioner Gordon: The Joker!
Chief O'Hara: All adds up to a sinister riddle... Riddle-R. Riddler!
Commissioner Gordon: A thought strikes me... So dreadful I scarcely dare give it utterance...
Batman: The four of them... Their forces combined...
Robin: Holy nightmare!

HILARIOUS

I got this on DVD. This might make for a fun rifftrax. Maybe they can keep quoting DARK KNIGHT whenever Batman and Joker talk.

For some reason I'm imagining the Penguin, Catwoman and Joker talking to the Riddler.

Riddler: "OK, we have a killer shark!  Cool!  But wait, that doesn't sound like a clue."
Catwoman: "Because it's not.  It's just going to kill Batman."
Riddler: "I don't follow, who do we send clues to if Batman dies?"
Penguin: "No one, Riddler.  He dies, we win."
Riddler: "Wait, I got something.  OK, it's a reach but you know how sharks smell like fish and penguins like fish?"
Joker: "Ugh, I told you guys we should have called Egghead."
Penguin: "You know I can't stand those stupid egg puns."
Joker: "And this is better?" *points to Riddler letting himself be attacked by a shark*
Riddler: "HEY, CHECK THIS OUT GUYS!  I'M TEACHING HIM TO PULL MY LEG! Get it?"
Catwoman: "Holy nightmare..."

Agreed, but I also really liked the Willy Wonka riff and I could see a riff in the vein of that.  Funny and whimsical on it's own, but it's still riffable, in my opinion.
