I'm actually really glad we got this warning. I have a couple of friends who are bigtime Mormons, and also bigtime Weird Al fans. It'd be really awkward playing them this RiffTrax if it had bawdy jokes or four-letter words in it. I think it's a matter of knowing your audience to know that you should say something like this.

Yeah, I was showing Attack of the Clones to my mormon friends, and we all got really uncomfortable with the sex jokes. I don't mind them so much, as Rifftrax makes them hilarious, but I was worried they were uncomfortable, so it made me uncomfortable. So I was glad to see the disclaimer and I wasn't afraid to show Jurassic Park to them because of them. It was a big hit.

I think the warning was mostly put there for Al's fans, as he has some very vocal parents... his stuff usually has disclaimers saying whether or not it's appropriate for children.

Really? Al's parents are very vocal? Huh. I didn't know that.

Frankly I never thought Al was supposed to be, or had to be, kid-friendly. First I heard of him was in grade school when somebody said there was a song on the radio called "Eat It." And although I've been a fan since grade school, I could always tell it wasn't supposed to be kid's humor. Like Pee Wee Herman, except he then did a kid's show. Which Al also did. I detail all this in my new book, "Corruption of the Mature: Dumbing Down A Grown-Up World." Actually that's a better idea than a joke.

One of my favorite Al things is the least kid friendly; the overdubbing of Aerosmith's phone-sex video, "Sweet Emotion," followed by a fake phone sex PSA. "Billy... I'm sitting on a banana."

Well, you'd be wrong. Not just about one thing, but about everything you've ever had an opinion on.

Sorry but I've got to doubt that too.  Read the first item on the Weird Al FAQ:

I've found some songs on the Internet that are supposedly by Al, but I've never heard them on any of his albums. What the hey?
Unfortunately, there are a lot of song parodies floating around the Internet being attributed to Al which are in fact done by somebody else. "Star Wars Cantina," "Windows 95 Sucks," "Living La Vida Yoda," "Combo No. 5," "What If God Smoked Cannabis," "He Got The Wrong Foot Amputated" (the list goes on and on... some of the titles are unprintable in a family-friendly web site) - these songs are NOT by Al. If you want to verify whether or not a song is actually by Al, check the Catalogue page.

It's not listed anywhere that he did a 'Sweet Emotion' parody.

There is a Sweet Emotions "msting" listed on the Al-TV site. . . well, they didn't say he msted it, but they said it was on the show and that's more or less what he did.

I vaguely remember seeing that one, yeah. The Al-TV specials tended to be "edgier" than the albums were. The songs have always been family-friendly, but that doesn't mean "dumbed down for kids". (After all, how is the "self-service pumps" line in "One More Minute" NOT a double entendre? :P )

I didn't say it was a song. I said it was an overdubbed video. It was on Al TV. And now I believe, sir, you ordered the word steak with a side order of foot?
