didn't like Citizen Kane -thought it was boring (please dont explain 'rose bud' to me, I didn't care watching it and I sure don't now).

didn't like a certain series of British movies (I dare not speak their names for fear of losing my soul) -proud to say that British men in dresses don't make me laugh

didn't like Evil Dead 2- I love Evil Dead (the original) part of my all-time top ten. The two movies are night and day.

*sigh*Apparently this is an understatement but just my unpopular opinions

So then we are left with... The Big Lebowski, and I'm sure we can find some one who doesn't like that.

Which means there's one more thing we can learn from this topic.  Never invite the entire Rifftrax fan base over to watch a movie, you'll never be able to decide what to watch.

I once watched it with someone who thought it was really stupid, and suddenly it didn't work. I love the movie, but like Spinal Tap, it can be ruined by a bad crowd. Thus, I'm positive somebody here will have disliked it their first time through, and never given it a second chance.

Charm, wit, strong cast, great script, interesting locales, great set pieces, and pretty much everything else a movie with no nudity possibly could have going.
Also, Cary Elwes.
Who, unlike some other Robin Hoods, can speak with a British accent.

Wow.  Someone else actually quoting Robin Hood: Men in Tights.  "Are my seams straights? Thank God.  You know, you've got to be a real man to wear tights." *cue men in tights song*

The movie is a guilty pleasure of mine.

I love Men In Tights. Um. The movie, that is. *cough* I've grown out of most Mel Brooks movies, but for some reason that one hasn't lost it's shine. Of course, if I were to go back and watch it now, who knows.

"Master Robin, you've lost your arms in battle! ... Grown some nice boobs, though."

Wow, after all this and it seems that Shaun of the Dead is the only one to escape unscathed. The harshest comment so far was "I liked it, but didnt love it."

Is this the one?

Grapes? I hate grapes, I can't stand grapes. I loathe grapes. All kinds of grapes. I hate green grapes and I hate purple grapes. I hate grapes with seeds, I hate grapes without seeds. I hate them peeled and nonpeeled. I hate them in bunches, one at a time and in small groups of twos and threes.

I just want to know why people dislike The Princess Bride.  It's like disliking Mother Theresa.

Apparently you don't watch too many episodes of Bullshit! - Mother Theresa was a bit of a bitch. Also, Mahatma Gandhi was a racist. These are unpopular views, but this is the truth.

Comedies seem to be a common thread. What about the Naked Gun movies? All gold, in my opinion. :^)

I find that comedies are generally a very subjective genre. For instance, the type of humor displayed in the Naked Gun movies (or Zucker-style, if you will) does not sit well with many people, though I can't imagine why. I personally love that type of humor, and it leaves me in stitches! However, movies like The Royal Tenenbaums crack me up, but are despised by many. These are very different styles of comedy, but have their own followers.

Funny story about Tenenbaums, I was at a Blockbuster Video(I know, hisssss!!) a long time ago and I overheard a lady talking to another about Tenenbaums. She said something to the effect of "I put that movie in and was like 'What the hell is this?' and I said get this crap out of my player!" (p.s. she said this in a very twangy Texas accent), and I thought to myself, you know, lady, you remind me of the waitress in Tommy Boy who went to the TV and asked her patrons "Do y'all want this or American Gladiators?" Same type of lady. A movie like Tenenbaums is completely lost to her kind(no offense to those with a twangy Texas accent!).   ;D

Kind of makes you wonder that if people like the characters on My Name is Earl think that show is funny. I suppose I should ask my wife's side of the family...

Hey, I like My Name Is Earl.  Sure, it's not a laugh a minute, but even at its worst, it's not painful to watch.  (Which is more than I can say for Family Guy, or some of the more recent Simpsons.)

Uh, I wouldn't use Bullshit! as a primary source for much of anything- they're funny, but they're openly kind of lax on research and such. A lot of what they do is taking facts somewhat out of context to play devil's advocate without necessarily even believing what they say.

Sorry to say but I wasn't a fan of it. Too much forced British humor and unncessary violence. Blah.

Er.....movies about a zombie invasion and unnecessary violence sort of go hand in hand. I mean....how can you NOT have unnecessary violence when zombies are trying to eat you?
