One of the things I found impressive about Citizen Kane was the old age make-up, the film covers what, 60-70 years? I thought they did a great job.

I know I'll get flamed for this, but I've never "got" the the appeal of the Evil Dead films.  I find them just really bad and boring.  And people idolize Bruce Campbell, for really no reason at all, other than he was in those movies.  I HATED Bubba Ho-Tep.

It's not that I missed the point, it's that I didn't care for the point they were trying to make. The beating up of other people was just a side note

Ironically, I also saw XXX in the theatre.  I didn't really care much about the plot, only that Vin Diesel was hot  , so I actually sort of enjoyed it.

It's not a superbly deep story or anything, but I think the book does a better job of explaining it than the movie

From out of left field: Does anybody not like Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure? Seriously.

Obviously, it's no masterpiece, but it is one of my favorites.

How about Casablanca?  I kinda liked it better than Citizen Kane.

I liked The Maltese Falcon and The Treasure of the Sierra Madre far more than Casablanca, which didn't really have much of an effect on me. I mean, I guess it's pretty good, but there are many films that I like more than it, including Citizen Kane.

I've only seen the first, which I loved as a kid. I haven't seen it since, so I can't really comment on it.

My favorite animated movie of all time is Heavy Traffic -- now THAT is a movie! Damn good.
