Visual effects...... I can see (no pun intended) that as the robots looked and moved pretty cool and did not have the "obviously CGI" tone that King Kong had.

But sound mixing and sound editing?    How on EARTH are those nominated?    Was this just to do Bay a favor?

Visual effects, sorry, since most of them were unwatchable due to shaky-cam how can can you tell if they were good?

There should be a mandatory deduction for each shaky-cam shot, just to discourage it's use...

Sound Mixing also went to Bourne

I just watched Bourne and Transformers (hd-dvd) the other day. I've gotta say that Transformers has hands down the better sound. Bourne is mostly city ambiance.

Haven't seen The Golden Compass
