I don't care how funny you THINK you are, other people are trying to watch the movie and don't want to hear you and your friends stupid quips and chatter... certainly a pet peeve of mine.

Too true, guilty as charged, although I doubt that in today's typical cinema crowd I will be heard over the din.  Which is why I gave up the cinema.  Better for me and for the other patrons.

I feel a bit bad about this one, but I was coming up, in my head, with quite a few riffs while watching Schindler's List. It's ... um ... very riffable material, it's just all very, very distasteful and should never be spoken out loud.

It's a curse sometimes. Same thing with Hotel Rwanda. I take the movies seriously, but a part of me just can't shut the jokes off.

If ever there was a movie that must never be riffed, it's this one.
