Whatever happened to Joel?

Can someone tell me what ep of MST3K mike replaced joel in?

Also, what's/how's joel doing now? I heard he was a standup comedian before MST3K and used some of his old props for invention exchange. Did he go back to it? I bet his routine would have audiences now....

Option one, he's being sarcastic since CT hasn't made any big acknowledgment of Rifftrax.

Option two, the dial up thing.

Option three, the shock of seeing what Joel looks like today fried his brain.

I heard he's a magic consultant for the Harry Potter movies. But secretly, I think he finally gave in and now makes all the props for Carrot Top.

hmm,  keep in mind this is the same guy who joined fairly recently and asked if Mike would ever consider riffing Plan 9 From Outer Space, gathering information on riffers obviously isn't his strong suit.
