Pretty underwhelmed with this one, even more so than Alpocalypse. I dunno if I'm too old, the music's too crappy, or Al's just not in top form, but this only got a couple smiles out of me.

I think the polka is better than the last one.

Got on YouTube and listened to all the songs that he parodies on the album earlier.  A painful experience (though "Royals" isn't too bad) but worth it to lend some context to the parodies. Going to listen to the album now.

First listen impressions:

I really like Foil, Word Crimes (probably the best song), the polka, Tacky and Jackson Park Express. I really wish Foil would've gotten another verse.  As I noted above, the original is, by far, the best song that he covered this time, so it's a shame that it gets the least time. The only song I really didn't like much is Sports Song.  The rest I'm just kind of "meh" about right now.  Overall, I enjoyed it.  It's definitely not one of his best, but it's pretty far from his worst.

I love that Word Crimes is actually a thing for Al, he's been posting little grammer videos on his YouTube Channel for years.

Yep, these artists don't have the skill and staying power of Nena, Billy Ray Cyrus, Fine Young Cannibals, Men Without Hats, MC Hammer, Toni Basil, Coolio, Tiffany, Cherry Poppin' Daddies, The Crash Test Dummies, Tone Loc, or Richard Harris.

I quite enjoy(ed) the album. The last song was a bit "meh" for me up until the very end... Just another one of his long cliche'd rambling musical stories where he tries to mention "bizarre" things that I guess qualify as "weird" (always seems a bit forced to me...)

But that aside, great album considering he doesn't have much to work with in today's music!!

Highlights are definitely Foil, Word Crimes, the polka, Tacky.... I quite enjoyed Lame Claim To Fame too.

I kinda like the sports song, but it feels like something still held over unused from The Weird Al Show and feels a tad out of place.
...and there he was, reigning supreme at number two.  The One... The Only... The Unabeefer.

Quite a bit is growing on me, completely don't care about sports song or jackson park express. I was over meta stuff like 10 years ago on the WoW forums. And I don't care for the super long rambly things, they seem like an obligation now.

Damn I also feel stupid for not immediately guessing My Own Eyes as a Foo Fighters style parody.

Love the inclusion of the lyrics in the video itself.
