At least I was a Yes fan by the mid-80s.

(orchestra hit)

Now, THAT's funny

That "Your ego's writing checks your body can't cash" wasn't a joke line Hot Shots! came up with. It was an actual quote from Top Gun, spoken by a character who wasn't kidding.

DiVX files you find on thepiratebay can't always be trusted...  shitty quality, skips, then movie audio goes out of sync... guess I'm going to have to bite the bullet and actually go borrow it from the library tomorrow

Well, you could do that, or you could breathe hard and buy it. At least Top Gun is a safer title to have on your shelf than say, Crossroads

I do have Crossroads on my shelf and I imagine it'll make a good conversational piece, and I did end up having to pay for it even though it was the library...  bastards

Won't be buying much except for with the $40 in my paypal account for a little bit, I just got a piece of mail informing me I had to go to the bank to pay what ended up being $195  :-",

Yeah, I'd hate to have to defend that one...it would end up like this "look guys, I swear I have this funny audio track to play with it"..."suuuuure"

I took the sticker from the reefer madness packaging (said "now featuring mike nelson commentary" and it had a picture of Mike on it) and I put on the side of the case and attempted to blend it in with the legend releases that also have mikes mug plastered on the side ... it still sticks out like a sore thumb though :)

I learned that "The Chomp" is a witty and totally viable retort...

A lot of things when flying happen which require people to say "shit!" a bunch of times.

And "goddamnit" is a favorite word across all navy personel

I learned that fighter pilots also go through rigorous karoake training so that they can help one of their own hit on strange women in bars.
