A rifftrax double feature?
« on: November 23, 2007, 08:47:58 PM »
I wonder if mike and the his merry men could ever do a double feature of an original movie and it's remake, then debatw which was better after riffing both.

I'd nominate "the blob" for this honor.

Yep.

This iRiff will only be on sale for another few hours. Get it while it's cheap!

That is the most awkward tagline I have ever seen.

Hmm, there are quite a few possibilities there, though a good portion of them are going to be in the horror genre which they don't seem to touch often.

The Haunting

Thirteen Ghosts

Perhaps they could make a double feature out of an already existing Rifftrax and do one of the Tim Burton "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory"  Could be fun, especially if NPH can make a return for it.

How about a double-double feature....all four manifestations of Invasion of the Body Snatchers?

"The Thing" would be a nice double feature.

The two (big-budgeted) War of the Worlds....

How about a non-sci-fi film that for some reason they thought it would be a good idea to remake - The Jazz Singer.

Yeah, the first one is mostly silent...but they're always saying that they need quiet time for the riffs.

Does the fact I'm not surprised you haven't heard of that movie tell you anything about it?

Well, it's not really a movie they can show on TV....not without really chopping it up bad.

It's more gross than scary.  Seeing all the dead bodies in it.....
