Mike seems to be focusing mostly on action movie cheese when even sillier movies  can be found elsewhere.  I nominate "Beaches" and "The Blue Lagoon" because there's so much to work with.  They're so unintentionally hysterical that the riffs compose themselves.

i think this one thread works fine. there is a "search this thread" button right above the topic if you want to see if your suggestion has already been done.

All right, I didnt think long or hard about this, but these came to mind

Highlander
St. Elmo's Fire
The Village
Red Dawn
Daredevil

Highlander would probably be the best of these followed closely by the village and daredevil.

i watched "Red Eye" on demand last night for some unknown reason. It was quite terrible, so I nominate it.

I thought Red Eye was fantastic.  Wes Craven's best movie in years.  the acting was great, and the tension was meticulously crafted.

But hell, riff it anyway!

Ooo, how about Maximum Overdrive, staring Joe Estevez's nephew Emilio and the woman who does Lisa Simpson's voice. "A group of people try to survive when machines start to come alive and become homicidal." The real star of the movie: the Devil/Clown Mac Truck.

Thats true, the Clown truck was awesome... Imagine if Michael Bay stuck him in the TF movie against Optimus Prime

My vote goes to The Da Vinci Code. I sat through that at the weekend and ye gods, what a bad film ("Why are they flashing back to Life of Brian!?").

Has anyone suggested Xanadu yet?  Because, Xanadu.  "Musicals" might not be the easiest thing in the world to riff, but I have to believe any movie about a down-on-his-luck artist who gets inspired by a Muse (as in, daughter of Zeus) to open a roller-disco with a salty old clarinet player is ripe for riffing.  Particularly the part where Olivia Newton John and Michael Beck turn into fish.

Oh, also:  Tron.
