I taped it due to a schedule conflict, we're going to watch it tonight. Will comment after I've viewed. :)

There was one incident involving homer and spider pig that was too disgusting for my taste.

Yeah, the pig was squealing and then stopped when Homer changed positions or something.  Very Horrific!

I agree, the spider-pig joke wasn't funny

Really? I thought it was hilarious.

I liked the episode, though the segment that parodied Mr & Mrs Smith isn't really Halloween material.  I especially liked the pre-credits sequence "Mmm...Developed by".   :)

I thought the pig joke was funny, yet horrific.  But I have actually had my hand up a pigs va-jay-jay*, so I have a different perspective.

*Our pigs were giving birth, and my step-dad thought my arms were small enough to get up there and pull the breached baby out so they wouldn't have to pay for a vet.

Seemed a bit phoned in really . The Mr and Mrs Simpson bit didn't seem like it fit at all.

I'm happy I don't watch the simpsons weekly anymore. All the newer episodes like this new THOH seem like it's just there and unfunny. The last part with the heck house was way too short.

The Heck House part was short, pointless, and the episode ended very abruptly. The episode as a whole was generally unfunny and felt, as others have said, very phoned in. I think the only time I even cracked a smile the entire episode was when Marge attacked the corporate logos at the very beginning... and even that was similar in concept to that idiotic bit Family Guy did earlier this season (having customized in-show "corporate logos" that did stuff).

I give it a C minus.

I liked the logo bit and who doesn't enjoy Marge cleavage but yeah pretty underwhelming.

The shame of it is Hell Houses are really fertile ground, I seem to remember there being a pretty good King of the Hill about one.
