Was Fred as much as a natural as we've expected?  Discuss.

A decent job, not as funny as I hoped it be. Fred did a good job.

Fred was good, but I think it was a little more off the beaten path for him than he was expecting.  I could see him growing into it very well on a second or third guest spot.  As it is, it kind of had the feel of early MST3K which brought back a lot of good memories.

By the way, did anyone else have trouble with the Black & White version?  I tried watching the riff with that first, but about 3/4ths of the way through it started skipping and I had to switch to the color.  Going to try watching the dvd on another player to see if the disc is the problem or if I have to clean the player.  Disc doesn't look dirty or scratched at all.

I wasn't sure if it was new this trax or not because I hadn't picked up Next yet.  Loved the new theme, big improvement.

I can't wait to watch this tonight. Just editing the Riff for my DVD reauthor cracked me up several times. I'm excited.

Fred was okay, but not nearly as good as I expected.  He had some good riffs, but he never really seemed to find his groove.  Then again, it was his first time.

Lon resembled a young Alec Baldwin.  I kept expecting to hear a riff... "We've got Awec Bawwin."

Not one of the best Rifftrax. I give it a 5.

I just don't think Fred Willard is the funniest man named Fred much less the funniest man in America.

From the sample clip I thaught the stupidest thing in this movie would be the rock creatures. But then I saw the FLAT cardboard ship they stand next to when they first arrive on the moon! They had a full bottom of the ship in the launch site set, why didn't they even use their own prop? Thank god there is a sync line right there, I kept screwing up the rifftrax rewinding that part, laughing my a#* off.

I didn't think Fred did all that great. It didn't seem like he "performed" most of the lines, just read them. It's a shame, as I really like him, and he's always good in any movie or TV show I have seen him in. I chalk it up more to him apparently not being used to the format, and maybe would benefit from more rehersals beforehand. He is definitely a good enough actor, and very funny, that he deserves another chance. Maybe he could riff on a movie he was in.

Tough crowd.  I thought it was hilarious.  It was like an old MST3K episode. There was a lot to laugh at in this film and the riffing took it over the top.  (I mean just like the movie over the top, it killed me)
