"New Adventures" just gives me a creepy feeling. Like this will be the New adventures of the Care Bears or some similar train wreck.

It's funny, if this had been announced a year and a half ago I'd have been wriggly with excitement.  As it is I'm kind of, "meh".

I think Rifftrax spoiled me.  :-)

I really enjoy Mike and Kevin's writing and humor, especially they way they play off each other.  Mix in a little Corbett and you've got some tasty brain food.

Unless Jim Mallon can convince Joel or Trace to come on board, I'm not to sanguine about this project's chances.  Not ill-wishing, just an observation.

Like everyone else, I'm curious what's going on behind the scenes.

Well, you might end up with Trace writing for them again...I know he moved back to Minnesota.....

For that matter....I have no idea what Josn Weinstein is doing...

you never know.

Color me tentatively excited. This has the potential to go somewhere. Just don't know if it will start anywhere.

My thoughts exactly.
Best to wait it out and see where it goes.

I can tell you this though...
I'd love to be a fly on the wall in the RiffTrax lunch room when folks start talking to Mike about this.

Or,

I'd love to be a fly on the wall at the Nelson residence as Mike tells Bridget of the news

 ;)

I remember in the View-Askew interview he talked about that and wanting to or talking about doing something with Joel and Josh again...

There's no mention of who's doing Servo's voice....

...

The Bots and animation, together? Sounds like a winning combo to me. Although, i hope it's not cheezy Flash animation. There are enough of those lame cartoons jamming up the interwebs these days. Badly animated MST3K is likely to just get lost somewhere in the tubes.

Anyway, will they be riffing on anything? Will they have a new human companion? And i'm curious if they'll be returning to the SOL... or if they'll act like they never returned to Earth at all.

Argh! The questions... the questions!

Well, look at it this way...if it stinks...it will be perfect for Rifftrax DIY.  Hopefully it is good though, because I have been completely underwhelmed with Cartoon dumps last 3 or so episodes.

I would bet money on Jim doing it. That way he doesn't have to pay someone else.

Well, they said they were hiring new talent.  Maybe Servo is going to be someone new.

I imagine these conversations will be colored greatly by whether or not they already know.  If I were Mr. Mallon and I wanted to bring back the fans, I'd have at least tried to hire the original talent before taking it live with the B Squad.  On the other hand, if he's trying to do it on the cheap, he might have just started with the B Squad.

I'm curious.  Not excited or disgusted (though I may switch to one of those after seeing the new content).  Just curious.
I thought I was Dale.

Can't wait to see what new swag they got in store. I'd wear a hat with the mst logo or would buy a couple toy robots. As for the cartoon, I think it will come off as fan-made quality. I hate Gypsy with a passion (its the voice that bugs me), so it'll be interesting to see how annoyed I get with "her" being a key character.

Great announcement though, cant wait to see the DVD extra style content too.

I'm more excited for the merchandise....give to daddy.
Indeed, no more sending in a check or money order and waiting 6 to 8 weeks for delivery, but an actual 'online' store... Welcome to the 21st century Jim!!!
