Look its just one of my pet peeves ... didn't mean to offend anyone ... but I am being serious about it getting on my nerves, don't understand that brand of humor

There's nothing really inherently funny in the act of a male actor dressing in drag and speaking in a shrill woman's voice in and of itself, but in the case of, say, Python and Kids in the Hall, it could be used to great effect in a well-written sketch. They never made the punchline be the fact that a man was in a dress; they just played it straight as if women were playing the roles, and let the material speak for itself. Besides, Terry Jones simply made a more convincing ugly old woman than Carol Cleveland would have. :P

So, yeah. New MST3K website on the way, and stuff.

I agree. Hey' I loved MST3K. I've seen all of the episodes and watched most of them multiple times (Thanks DAP!) But I know one of the big reasons that show was so funny was Mike Nelson, the head writer of MST3K for many years, even before he was the host. Kevin was also a huge part of that show and later so was Bill. So basically where Mike, Kevin, and Bill go, I go. MST3K without those guys just kind of seems wrong.

You know...Trace and Josh just left AFV to "pursue other projects".

Coincidence?   :-\

Huh.  Well.

As long as he doesn't go in and start, for instance, digitally deleting Frank and Trace from the "Legacy" series...

My theory is that it is just a way to drive traffic to his new BBI MST3K merchandise site.   A minute or two long short to keep the brand alive.

Hopefully that merchandise will consist of manufactured DVDs of previously tape only releases like the Scrapbook Tape and the Last Dance: Raw..

Even in the 30th Anniversary Special, Terry Jones is more believable as an old woman than Carol Cleveland.  She could still pass for late 40's at the oldest.

Well, the only reason I mentioned the KTMAs was because he's the one with the tapes. If there was ever any chance of seeing some high-quality vintage stuff, this would seem to be it. I'm sure there are other considerations though...

Perhaps.  If Trace were going to be working on this new project, I doubt that Paul would have been announced as the voice of Crow.

Exactly, if Trace was involved you'd tell everyone.

Yes.  He name-dropped Paul.  If Trace was involved, he'd have name-dropped him too.

Whatever it turns out to be, it'll have Jim and Paul, possibly supplemented by people we've never heard of.
I thought I was Dale.
