RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS - Soul to Squeeze
http://www.questionoflust.com/music/RHCPsoul-to-squeeze.mp3
(I just wait for that guitar solo in the middle of the song.....YEAH!   Go Beldar.

I just read that Californication album sold 15,000,000 copies worldwide.  I didn't expect that many.)

CLEM SNIDE - No one's more happy than you (acoustic)  I prefer the studio version, but can't find it online
http://clemsnide.org/2.11.02-06NoOnesMoreHappyThanYou.mp3

THE FLAMINGOS - I ONLY HAVE EYES FOR YOU
http://www.westaurora61.com/I%20Only%20Have%20Eyes%20For%20You.mp3
(Unfortunately this is the truncated version)

Dwight Yoakam - Guitars and Cadillacs
http://www.thecrutch.net/mp3/dwight_yoakam-guitars_cadillacs.mp3
(check out the siskel/ebert review at "http://www.atthemoviestv.com" where siskel says Dwight is better than Billy Bob)

BLUR - Coffee and TV
http://77percent.com/musica/coffeeandtv.mp3
(Beat oasis in the battle, but lost the war)

JOHNNY AND SANTO- SLEEPWALK
http://fooguy10.tripod.com/01_Sleepwalk.mp3

JACKSON BROWNE - YOUR BRIGHT BABY BLUES (acoustic)
http://home.insightbb.com/~junkopardner/music/08%20Your%20Bright%20Baby%20Blues.mp3

Okay, an image about masturbation coupled with a song about addicton among other things is a bit of a strech...but they're both JB

LED ZEPPELIN - SINCE I'VE BEEN LOVING YOU
http://waterlilygraphics.com/tunes/lzsinceivebeen.mp3   since ive been loving
(Apparently their albums are available to download on Itunes now.)

SAM COOKE - CUPID
http://www.sweetemms.com/media/Oldies_-_Sam_Cooke_-_Cupid.mp3   cupid
(mysterious death...hotel manager...screaming lady)

WHISTLER....UH, I MEAN KRIS KRISTOFFERSON - SUNDAY MORNING COMING DOWN
http://www.livinginstereo.com/audio/Kristofferson_SundayMornincomindown.mp3

I think this song has just about the best beginning lyrics of any song:
(He did write ME AND BOBBY MCGEE among other great C&W classics)

Well I woke up Sunday morning,
With no way to hold my head that didn't hurt.
And the beer I had for breakfast wasn't bad,
So I had one more for dessert.
Then I fumbled through my closet for my clothes,
And found my cleanest dirty shirt.

ya i guess id put it all on a flash drive and make it a mix drive.   i listen to most of it on the computer anyways.  a lot simpler than changing cds(though you gotta get the cds for art and listening in the car!)
