It didn't end up being too bad. I just stayed at work really late until everything was cleared up.

Not a bad idea. I'm the type of person who likes being at work(IF I worked I mean) as little as possible so I might have braved the smoke... no I wouldn't, it would probably cause me some serious breathing issues like I'm prone to.

We got the stuff out, luckily I only had washable stuff in there. It's just irritating because she's only pregnant because HE continues to leave windows open and makes it easy for her to get outside.

It was a fire at an industrial storage facility. No one was hurt, and the only stuff to burn was waste, brush, and barrels of nobody-knows-what. The smoke was blowing right at my building, so they shut off the A/C and made everyone stay inside. So the rest of the day was hot and full of possibly toxic smoke.
