I love Halloween, so am glad it is almost here.

But I'm basically ready for Christmas itself.  I have 90% of my gifts for people already purchased, just waiting on a few for the Black Friday sales.  I think to keep myself from getting overwhelmed in December I'll start wrapping X-mas stuff when Halloween is over, so all I have to do is ship it out when December hits.

I was looking at SSDs today, and I was REALLY amazed at the prices I was seeing. Did they recently have a massive price drop? I was seeing 900+ GB for like 120$, which is a LOT lower than I remembered.

Yeah, don't get me wrong: I'm pretty much set for Christmas gift-wise [I shop all year long, then just split the gifts I've collected between birthdays and X-mas], but I'd be quite happy to not see Christmas decorations or hear Christmas music til at least the last night of Hanukkah.  ...St Lucy's would be fine, too.

This reminds me I need to buy a new winter coat now, because when it gets cold in January they will be putting the bathing suits out...  Went looking for winter gloves last year and that's what I found instead, if you wait until you need something for the season you are actually in you are out of luck these days.
