No, those are all how the people of the listed countries depict that sound that cats commonly make or, to put it another way; if you asked a person from that country to say what noise a cat makes, those would be the answers.

I see.  That makes sense.  Dogs don't actually say "bark" and ducks don't actually say "quack", but we ascribe those noises to those animals nonetheless.

Yeah that weirded me out when I heard it too, but I guess it's like, your mother's poop carries some important antibodies in it and some people didn't get those antibodies naturally for some reason and it becomes a problem when that person gets certain infections.
