Bangkok, Oriental setting.

Our local Chatauqua festival is having a cornhole competion this year.  I'm sure I will win because I am the Great Cornholio.

Tee hee

I've noticed when going to buy one, that on all 'junk-file cleaning' programs for the computer, there's a "No Cache Back" policy.

What's everyone's opinion on going on a date with someone else when you're in a long distance relationship?  I really like the Ham and we talk online and on the phone often.  But another man asked me on a date.  I've known this guy for years.  I really like him.

The Ham and I did discuss this and we both agreed it would be fine.  But as a woman I would have a hard time accepting that he has other girlfriends.  Men, any opinions or advice?

Goose/Gander really.  If you'd have a problem with him seeing others then it's not fair to see others youself. Unless,  of course, he's okay with a one sided arrangement.

Yeah, if both of you are cool with an open relationship, then go for it. But if you can't handle him seeing other people, it's not very fair to wander yourself. Unless he's whipped enough to let you shop around while he gets by with the LDR.  ;)

Don't mistake a masculine au pair as a male parent...

...because that would be a 'faux Pa'.

My local paper asked me to do an article on local bakeries making turnovers, croissants, rustico leccese, pâte feuilletée, empanadilla, and such, and how some of them are substituting phyllo for the correct main ingredient.  I was all set to blow the lid off of this conspiracy with a hard-hitting story about mismanagement of dough in the pastry biz, when the editor nixed that idea...

...turned out, for the weekend edition, they just wanted a puff piece.

[Just so people know: yes, between the two sets of elipses (and after the last comma in the first one), I did whip off my sunglasses in the posts I've made on this page. 8)]

And EVERYTHING ELSE!

Well... it did give it more impact that way.
