I'm afraid to post in fear of losing this notable designation.

EDIT: WOOHOO!!! Still there!  :D

FYI: all future posts will just be edits to this post.

My friend told me today that I looked like a Glamour Do

Sad, but its the best compliment I've gotten all week

I don't know what that means.

Glamour magazine has a list of Dos and Don't of how to dress every month.  As well as special issues dedicated to them.  It can be quite hilarious sometimes.

It's a special member designation that lasts for exactly 2 posts.

Barnes is now stuck in a situation where, for every new post he makes, he'll have to hunt down and delete an old one.

I'm getting kinda close to that threshold myself.

From a director telling me why he wants me to voice a character:

"I want someone regal and superior sounding, but capable of warming up when the scene requires - so I thought of you"

Yep..

So I have this idea that I am kind of getting jazzed about. You all have heard me whine endlessly about having to buy in Pennsylvania and not moving to North Carolina. But the other day this post came across my tumblr dash:

Quote
After watch many video’s on youtube and hearing how much people were spending on there tiny house, I thought these people are spending way too much. The building materials don’t have to cost that much. You don’t have to use tounge and groove pine boards as your wall covering. You don’t have to go crazy with siding either. And if you don’t think you can build anything that well even after video instruction and buying plans, then you should simply buy this barn at Home Depot. For $7,500.

they build the shell for you. My advise is turn it sideways ask for no door installed but one on the middle side, not a double shed door but a house door. From there things get alot more simple. Wire the electric. Buy a book on electric wiring or get help from a friend. Do the plumbing. Same advise as before. Install paneling, floor covering, insulation (maybe a foam soybean type), cabnets, and maybe a porch. You will still be under 10k and alot happier than the couple that spent 12k building a fancy shed. Here are some pics of the barn at Home Depot. Also if you go look at it there is a catalog with bigger buildings they build for you. One looks like a small house with a porch.

And I was like, This would make a really cool cabin. And property in the North Carolina mountains is super cheap -- 1.5 acres is about $40k. So it's not anything that could happen today or tomorrow or even in a year, but in five or ten years it could be possible. I mean I realize that $7500 isn't the final number, and that the place would have to be fitted with electric and plumbing and so on, but it would at least be a place to stay when we go down there. And not a whole lot more rustic than the cabins we stay in now (except idk about a bathroom and shower).

Plumbing and wiring are actually not that difficult, especially in a structure like that. As long as you have one person who's fairly practical, it could be done quite easily.

And here's 2.3 acres available just outside of Brevard (I know exactly where this land is situated, too) for only $29,900.

There's construction on my road and every day for the past week I've been driving a bit over a mile on a bumpy road.  I'm enjoying the ride a lot.  Too bad it's only a mile. >:D

My apartment was randomly selected to do a Nielson survey. Apparently they also give you $30, cash, just for being randomly selected.
