Why do young girls run around in their pajamas?

I just don't get it.

More iPad Safari weirdness.  Today, some people who don't have avatars now do.  Jewish carpenter's avatar to be specific.  Some people's avatars have been replaced with Jewish Carpenter's avatar, and still others now have two avatars; their own and Jewish Carpenter's.

Point is, there's a whole lot of JewCarp going on here.  "Good Job"?  I'm not sure.

So awhile back we were at Dave and Busters, and my wife got one of those huge Pixie Stix.  Unable to finish it, she decided to share it with me, giving it to me for my lunch at work.  Of course, that huge plastic straw wouldn't fit in my small lunchbox, so being thoughtful she poured all the remaining blue crystalized powder into a baggie and packed it away for me.

So that explains why I opened my lunchbox today and found what looked like Walter White's product sitting on top.  That was an interesting shock to the system.

Maybe it wasn't the best name for a High School team.

It does make me wonder what names were rejected, though.

I'm guessing that's a pretty old High School team.

Robstown High School in Robstown, Texas.

Looks like it is a predominantly Hispanic school as the town has a 93% Hispanic population.  I wonder if the area has a history of cotton production?

Yes.  The area around Corpus Christi, where Robstown is located, is the heart of Texas' cotton country.  In fact, Robstown has an annual "Cottonfest".

Jeebus, that's crazy.  I wonder how recent the photo is?

Even Yosemite Sam is shocked at this today.  (He's actually grown a lot as a person)

It seems the people of the area aren't bothered by the name, otherwise it would have been changed by now.

I'm thinking their thought process was more along the line of the Nebraska Huskers and the connotations of slavery (and poorly paid immigrant labor more recently) just flew straight over their heads.
