Never had problems with hummus.  It's just plain yummus. 
You could try white bean hummus?  And I had some edamame hummus over Christmas that was also delicious.

I'm taking an online course at school.  The course is called Systems Analysis and Design, and it's all about gathering user requirements and planning a software project, basically.  I had enrolled in this course in the Fall semester, but it was cancelled due to low enrollment.  It appears low enrollment is not a problem for online sections, because enrollment is pretty low here too.  So low, in fact, that I am the only student in the class.

Given this, I've sent an E-Mail to my instructor asking if it's okay if we skip the "Discussion Board" requirement of the course since there is nobody to discuss with.

I had a Native American History class once that had the laziest teacher on the planet. Two weeks in and only three of the 20 or so enrolled students continued to show. After that she said if we showed up and did a project (regardless of quality) we would all get A's. It was a free A but I had to sit through many hours of old poor quality recorded videos from KQED about Native Americans.

Native American is a stupid PC term.  They arent native to this continent, they migrated here just like everyone else.  Earlier American is more accurate.

In that light, calling anyone anything other than African would be wrong, which is silly. Labels serve a function. Though it's true some don't like the term "Native American".  The best thing is to call them by their tribe, for example the Navajo or the Chippewa. 

I had a very good Native American history class in college. We watched a couple films, but they were films like 'Dead Man'.  Mostly it was visiting American Indian authors and hearing them speak. Russell Means, one of the leaders of AIM (American Indian movement) in the 1970s who helped orchestrate the Wounded Knee incident, spoke to our class.  He was an amazing story teller, and when he took a dramatic pause in an intense story it thundered loudly outside, out of nowhere. It was magical.

I think PC terms in general are stupid, but no one is calling themselves Native European so its not the same. I agree labels do serve a function, thats why the continents are named.

But that's not how humans have evolved to think.  We think in terms of groups.  As primates we traveled in groups, and started to develop complicated group dynamics, and that has carried on into this modern day.  Your family is even a group on a smaller scale.  Groups are everywhere.  This forum is a group.  People do not live alone in this world.

Not to mention the legal importance of groups, and what laws apply to what people.  The world needs diversity.  It needs groups of people who think different and act different.  If we eliminate all groups and are supposed to only identify as 'human', then we will all be expected to act the same and think the same, which is not healthy for humanity. 

Of course people should use their brains and racism is horrible, but we shouldn't ignore the importance of groups.

So, one big group is bad, but lots of smaller groups are good?  Sorry, what you are saying in that sentence above is exactly the problem with groups, people treated the same in them even though they are all individuals that might share some statistic.

Everyone should be treated as an individual.
