Last week my face decided that it was going to be really crappy and give me a ton of razor burn. I figured if I let it grow until today, it'd be in a state where the razor burn was gone and I could shave again. I was right, and I'm really glad I was. For some reason, being unable to shave for several days REALLY made me uncomfortable. I also decided to take some precautions to attempt to alleviate the possibility of razor burn. I got some exfoliating cream, and scrubbed my face in the shower. I also shaved right after the shower, because the steamy room is helpful for that. My normal shaving habit is once with the grain, rinse, and then once against. Normally, I can handle that without any problems, but I decided to be careful today and go with twice with the grain, short strokes. It's not QUITE as smooth, but it's close. I feel MUCH better without the stubble, too.
