It's been a few months since I graduated. I'm glad I'm out of college, but the one downside to this is that I'm starting to really, really miss one of my classes--my sculpting class. Although, be fair, if one of your classes required ample use of various welding rigs and all the sheet metal you would ever need, you'd miss it too.

I also lucked out. I thought I had lost the only great picture of my final sculpture that I had, but then I remembered I had emailed it to my friends on the day of the final critique. I'm going to touch it up in Photoshop a bit. Damn, I loved that sculpture.

Edit: Because I love showing it off, my final sculpture. It's a seven-foot jellyfish. I named it Seymour.

(That's not me in the pic, but he does a great job with giving a sense of scale to the piece.)

Today is the 69th day of the year.  Just thought of that.  Randomly.

You ever had someone from your past just 'pop-up' out of the blue and show up at your house unexpectedly?

That just happened a little while ago when a former coworker from my previous job just came by my house to 'see what I've been up to' since I last saw him at work back in 2005 ::)
He apparently still keeps in contact with certain folks at my old job so I was being tight-lipped and would 'derail' the conversation by blurting out another subject to keep him from prying into my business..
This was the type of guy who would look for something he could use to better his career by screwing you over or just eaves dropping in on your conversation uninvited.
He would love to hang around me because I had my small business going already then turn around and say I was promoting my business at work to other managers.

Why the fuck he shows up out of the blue today is beyond me other than he seems to be trying to sell some 'pyramid' scheme and thinks I'm gonna by into his selling tactics..
Seriously dude?? I liked the fact I didn't have to see you ever again once I left my old job but seems that Google Earth helped bring you to my front door step >:(

Not really random, but I was watching Time Chasers last night had a thought.

If you went back in time, say a year,  and brought back a head of lettuce would it spoil?

No, but the leaves would be mud-stained and splaying.

I keep getting a warning on my anti-virus from this board (and nowhere else online) tonight. This is the troublemaker:

Anyone else getting this?

That website is a repository for viruses apparently and Snow Crash is about viruses and other related phenomena (even if the relationship isn't straightforwardly apparent) so maybe that's it?

Yeah, maybe that's it. It's just on the Rifftrax forum, though, which is weird.

I'm on a 15 hour shift tomorrow - 3rd in 9 days! - so I've decided to learn a song off by heart between playing on my Vita and you know, doing actual work.  The song? Pure Imagination from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.
